RAFT Hike! Comanche Storytelling Place

Storytelling Place is a natural limestone amphitheater used by the nomadic Comanche people when they inhabited the Great Trinity Forest in the 1800s. The area has been designated sacred holy ground and sits just south of Bruton Road in southeast Dallas.

We'll meet at Devon Anderson Park, near the intersection of Jim Miller Rd and Seco Blvd, at 4pm and explore the route. Plan on a 1.5 to 2 hour hike, ending around sunset, as we may decide to head north and connect to the Piedmont Rodge Trail and Scyene Overlook.

Anyone interested can bring a picnic and set up shop at storytelling place instead of continuing on the hike.

RSVP on Facebook.
